Tungsten Metal

Tungsten metal powder, processed via hydrogen reduction of oxides, is essential for manufacturing high-performance TIG and resistance welding electrodes due to its extremely high melting point, superior thermal stability, and,138-150°C hardness. It is compacted, sintered, and often alloyed with thorium, cerium, lanthanum, or zirconium to enhance arc stability and current-carrying capacity. Contains ≥99.5% tungsten, used for AC welding of aluminum/magnesium. Ensures stable arc and, in resistance welding, provides high-density, reliable tips.
