Titanate powders, primarily potassium titanate and sodium titanate, are essential additives in the flux coating of high-quality welding electrodes. They are primarily used to stabilize the welding arc and improve the physical characteristics of the weld. Typically required at 99% or higher for technical grades. Generally supplied as a fine powder, often around 200–250 mesh.
